TomCatMucDe Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Did you click on TAS in the PCA panel? It enables the radar.
Jansgi Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Did you click on TAS in the PCA panel? It enables the radar. Here: Also, for the time being, use the radar altimeter for ranging. The radar ranging (TAS) seems to be having problems. For radar altimeter ranging, click on the radar altimeter and click on the RS button (the one next to TAS) in the armament panel. Flagrum Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 The cross on the ground is not 100% stable - it drifts and thus making it difficult to actually hit the intended target. But that is explained in the manual - due to INS drift (at least when using predefined waypoints). A low slant angle and inprecise alt/elevation data might also add to this error. BUT! I think, OP speaks about the moment when you press LOCK to place the cross with the diamond. The cross appears not at the center of the diamond, but almost at the top corner of it.
