VMFA117_Poko Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 After fresh installing HL and switching on I've got such a message: RUNTIME ERROR 70 PERMISSION DENIED -WTF!!! What should I do? Download vbruntime 5 didn't help. Defrag disk or what? Also I found this on web: "Runtime Error 70 is a known permissions issue on 2000, XP and Server 2003 systems, and is caused by the "System Volume Information" folder not behaving itself, along with the pagefile.sys file not allowing it's path to be converted to a short (DOS) path." :helpsmilie: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
