Sharing "Input" Folder Using Across Versions/Installations Using Shortcuts

Hi,

 

I currently have DCS World 1.5.2 and 2.0A installed side-by-side.

 

I go back and forth between these two, sometimes tweaking the input options (changing/assigning buttons etc.)

 

My idea is to establish, e.g. a Dropbox folder called "Input" and create a Windows shortcut of that same name in the following two directories:

 

C:\Users\<User Name>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

C:\Users\<User Name>\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\Config\Input

 

The objective is to keep my controls in sync across all the installations without constantly having to save/import.

 

Will this work? Do you anticipate any problem/issues? Thanks.
