How DCS World 2: Red Flag makes me cry….

Its payware. But free for users that preordered Nevada before a certain date.

 

Ah, ok, good news, I preordered A-10C so perhaps it will be free for me (as NTTR map).

 

I hope only than this campaign hasn't this strange DRM like the other payware campaigns from DCS website.

Cant buy it because they dont work with Redshade/Sweet FX.

 

Much prefer Red Flag for A-10C than for F-15C ; )! Good news, thx!

If you had pre-order A-10C before prior to February 21st, 2011, you got Nevada for free - BUT you don`t get the F-15C Red Flag or the A-10C Red Flag for free.

 

If you had pre-order Nevada prior to October 1st, 2015: both Red Flag Campaigns

Pre-purchase between October 1st and the Open Alpha release in begin of december 2015, you will receive one free Red Flag campaign.

looking at the current trend it will probably have a three activation limit although if it is the same as it is for modules then one activation will regenerate one month after you used the last one. So you will never be permanently locked out of the content you paid money for.

I don't talk about activation but problems if You use DCS with SweetFX/Redshade.

I dont think SweetFX/Redshade are supported by ED, so I doubt they will be changing anything to suit those right now.

Maybe you should go back to the creators of that mod and have them fix it, ED likes fixing their own stuff, not other peoples ;)

 

Anyways... back on topic. This isnt the place to find support for broken unsupported mods.

Really jazzed for this. I've been boning up on the F-15 for the other campaign, but ultimately I'm a Hog Man.

 

More interestingly, I think the detail and expertise that went into these campaigns is going to help the entire mission design community hone their sensibilities. It's one thing to read books and old tactical manuals from various armies, but it's another thing to see it implemented.
