Hey skateziller I haven’t found a way to exit except the “x” in the top right corner. Will that cause any thing to corrupt? Also with the next version can we get an apply button so that when settings are made/updated you don’t have to exit to ensure that the setting is saved I had problems where I’ve had to shut down the os and the app wasn’t closed/exited and settings were lost. Tia

X Button to close is fine.

 

I will add the "Save" Settings option back in the application menu in the next build

Presets VR seems to return to default all the time.

 

If i launch a non VR instance with a selected preset (normal Launch button), after coming out of the game, the preset is still there.

However, if i launch a VR game through VR/ON and with my preset Beta VR selected, it always returns to the default preset the moment i press the VR/On button and gets greyed out.

 

 

But in game, the settings of my VR preset (called Beta VR) are selected and set.

The fix doesn't work. My own DCS Beta VR profile still doesn't stay in the Select Preset part after launching the game. Still Presets back to default. As mentioned above, it works with non VR presets.

The Right Menu Item is still selected (close DCS.exe and check), just the Name displayed on the Button Changes.

 

I Just fixed this, was a miss after merging my project back from one drive, I fixed one instance, but missed the 2nd instance some how, Fixed now, will merge into next build.

it's an exception because the file it was appending is now missing, Dont delete the log file while the application is open.

That is strange, because the local translation is only slipped over the real folder name. And that is "C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games" even on a german Windows 10 where it is shown as "Gespeicherte Spiele". Or do you have an older version of Windows?

Folder Language has no affect on scan method, it scans for options.lua

Next Build will have the newtonsoft json parsing dlls added back and be part of the package,

 

this will allow app to read and process some DCS Files to allow more detailed information and for changing some settings.

I have recently installed The DCS Updater, it is reporting I have Normandy loaded , but do not have the theater, then asks for license, since i do not have one, the program discontinues.

 

 

The server starts and runs normal, manually?

It will only say a module is installed if it detects specific files for it that are downloaded as part of the install process.

Any way of stopping space bar launching DCS?

 

I only ask as I tend to use space bar to bring my display back to life, and if your utility is the active window - which it regularly is! - then DCS launches when I don't want it to.

No big deal, just curious.

Click on the desktop or another window,

 

if the App is not the front App / Windows Focus'd App it will not register keyboard shortcuts or inputs.

Yes, I understand that. It's just that your app is most often active when the screen goes off, and then DCS launches when I press space bar to get it back to life.

I guess I'll have to just start pressing a different key to wake the screen up.

Bug report: since opting in to Windows Insider Programme, the Launcher does not render anymore (window is not visible when activating it) i think it loads correct but there is no way to bring it up.

This is a known bug. The windows is outside of the display Desktop range.
