98abaile
The Minimum Version Required for SA-342 on 1.5.3 is : 1.5.3.52724 You are Running: 1.5.3.52478 Hit the update button on the top of the APP, let it update, then hit the SA-342 Button. When I hit the update button it told me that it's up to date. When I use the latest version of the app the launch, update and repair buttons don't appear. I'm using windows 8. SkateZilla
1.5.352478 is the current release version, To use the gazelle, you need to be running the open beta. the updater utility needs to be placed in the DCS main folder. if it doesnt detect dcs.exe or dcs_updater.exe it will disable all buttons. if the buttons are invisible, then I dont understand why, other than possibly a screen resolution issue. SkateZilla
that's the issue then, the Updater Window is 1300x900 Now. Prolly sometime in the next few versions I'll look into making the App Window Scalable. Rlaxoxo
Just a suggestion: Make a button to switch between @Release @OpenBeta and so on So it's easier to switch between the clients [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Youtube Reddit
SkateZilla
Just a suggestion: Make a button to switch between @Release @OpenBeta and so on So it's easier to switch between the clients I have those buttons in a private build,, they are removed from public due to the damage it would cause if mis used. Rlaxoxo
I have those buttons in a private build,, they are removed from public due to the damage it would cause if mis used. Awww, shame ... Maybe slap a warning on top of it? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Youtube Reddit
SkateZilla
Awww, shame ... Maybe slap a warning on top of it? That's likely my plan, introduce an Pop up Form for Advanced Functions w/ Prompt warning. Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
SkateZilla
The Plan was to also have Text Box to enter your own version number So it'd be "Advanced Menu" Bringing up new Window 3 Separate Upgrades Button (Update To Release, Update To Open Beta, Update to Open Alpha) Then a Custom Update Button w/: Check Box For Release, Open Beta Open Alpha (If One is checked the other 2 are disabled.) And Either a text Box to enter the Version Number in Major.Minor.Subversion.build. format (X.X.X.XXXXX) or Drop Down Menu Populated w/ Past Versions (Which will require more upkeep) But Like I Said, if used Improperly, it would brick and install easily. SkateZilla
Now that I Moved Advanced Functions to a new window with Warning Dialog, I'll Prolly make another new Window for Flaming Cliffs Video Training modules, Or Add Smaller Icons Next to the Actual Module Icon. SkateZilla
Preview of Updater w/ Advanced Panel: When Clicked, the Advanced Panel will open on top of the Main App Window and a Pop Up will Prompt warning that it is for advanced users only. The New Options: -Update to Latest Release Branch -Update to Latest Open Beta Branch -Update to Latest Open Alpha Branch -Update to User Specified Version (this Has 3 Check Boxes, 1 for Each Branch, When One is Checked the other 2 will disable automatically, and a text box for a user to enter the desired version number), if version text box is left blank it will update to latest version automatically when update button is clicked) One or 2 Functions Maybe added to this screen. I Havent Decided how I'm going integrate the Video Training Modules. Toss up between Small Video Icon Next to Module, or a Whole New Panel/Window. Also, I Identified a Bug in Current Available Released Version: A-10C Enemy Within Campaign and KA-50 Republic Campaign Buttons Are Backwards (A-10C EWC Button installs KA50 Republic and Vise Versa) That is Also fixed in the next release. For now use the checkboxes. SkateZilla
Still testing and tweaking the functions and code a lil, Possibly this weekend for new version with adv. update panel. Still havent decided on the easiest and space friendly option for the 13-15 video training modules. IIRC they should be part of the DCS UI (Option to install training missions). Will have to double check. It would likely be a button to launch another window for video tutorial modules.
