**MiG-21 Changelog 5/2/2016**

Thanks. I haven't flown this module in months, and just decided to get back into it last night.

Good evening everyone. Frankly I am more agree with Simapajik. What it is really improved from the first versions of this aircraft? Apart from the SPS-141, which however still is not complete in its functions and lacks detailed explanations. I use only DCS 1.5.3 NO beta. Radar worked better before, as well as asp. The settings for joy commands (I mean on / off) may have disappointed those who wanted to build switch home cockpit panels. I think that the updates do you wait too long and do not understand if the Leathernecks are focusing only on the most f-14 neglecting buyers of mig-21. I do not know at this point whether they will buy a new product. we'll see. I can not do anything but wait. It is only a year i use a DCS and only use the MIG-21. I reali like but I'm a bit 'frustrated by all this. Forgive my English, I used the translator. good evening.:smilewink:

Yes, I agree with "Saigon". Coming development of the F-14 Tomcat, Leatherneck forgets users Mig-21Bis. it is bad. Definitely not buy a new module until all work better. DCS and its development = The Descent. I want to back version 1.2.16

Yes, this is a serious omission and makes night flying far more difficult than it should be.

People love the 21 and appreciate the hard work.. bugs are very frustrating for all involved im sure and will be great to get this back to being capable.

And there is a rumour that you fix the radar bug, you know it's hard to see targets on radar screen and sometimes they disappear suddenly on the screen. Is it true ? Did you fix the radar issue too?

That is unfortunate. That will very likely mean another two weeks or more before we see a fully featured mig21. I do hope the next patch will bring back the good radar and combat capabilities.

Based on previous scheduling, it's likely that the patch will be available next week.

The delay from ED on implementing this has frustrated quite a few of people I fly with. Cobra, thanks for the info, hopefully if they'll put it in the next patch from open beta to full 1.5.3 on Wednesday.

Whoa, so you're telling us that you don't speak to ED and ED doesn't speak to developers about scheduled updates? if you haven't noticed, since few months there has been DCS update every Friday.

 

Sorry for the rant, just seems weird to develop software this way.

Thank you for taking time to reply. I still think that your mig 21 is my favorite module. I just get dismayed when she gets degraded. I look forward to the patch and hope communication with all relevant parties is clear so that you are able to do what you and your team do best! :thumbup:

I started the update with "folder spy" On to see if any changes are made to other modules then those mentioned... let's see.

From what i get from the update on stable there was an update, but i really don't see what is fixed. Radar can see nothing at or below the horizon no matter the range from the target or filters. I can easily spot target above or below (at longer ranges) , can spot while inverted but I can't spot anything in same altitude OR on my nose (no matter the range)...either they trolling us or they don't test.

It just took my 2 minutes in the editor to set targets at various parameters and 10 minutes in flight to find and detect 20 targets. From small planes like L 39, choppers to F-15 and A-10 even B 52's.

The irritating blind spot persists and it drives me mad.
