Radar Lock tone issue. 1.5.3

In 1.5.3 when I lock a contact and I turn off the radar with the contact lock the tone stays on.

In latest update, has the RWR lock tone changed? it doesn't sound like before, much slower pace of the tones & blinks.....it sounded better before IMHO.

If so why has it changed?

The logic has changed slightly and is now accurate.

 

Lock tone will vary based on direction, power of radar and distance.

Tested it & I can definitely hear the difference when being locked by an modern radar or an older radar....very handy feature & good job :thumbup:

Is it new feature or a bug that you only get the radar lock tone just when the locked plane gets inside the LA zone?.

 

There is still an important bug that needs to be fixed:

 

1) Planes flying straight ahead of radar cone can´t be noticed on scope beynd 12/15km.

Tested it & I can definitely hear the difference when being locked by an modern radar or an older radar....very handy feature & good job :thumbup:

 

Can you upload a video showing different types of radar locks and scans?
