What's your graphic settings guys in 1.5 and 2.0? I got Intel i5-3570K OC@4.4Ghz, 8GB RAM and MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G running under Windows 7 64bit and I'm not very happy what I got in the game. And I'm talking about single player. Any ideas what settings i should try for my configuration? I'm sure some of you guys have similar hardware setup.

I have the old i5 2500k at 4.3GHz and a 970 G1 Gaming, but with 16GB of 2133 DDR3.

I have everything set to highest except shadows - which are set to 'flat' due to issues. (suggest you try flat as well)

I get excellent framerates on my 3 1920x1080 monitors.

Probably do not want to run water on high in 1.5. That would be a start.

Water is everywhere on that map. Not just what you can see.

Shadows to Flat and leave terrain shadows off for now. Might look up Mustangs tree shadow fix as well.

Do you really need heat blur and civ traffic on?

Some say mirrors off can help.

8gb ram is not enough need to have a 16gb ram for better performance in DCS

This seems to be a common argument that 16G RAM will give u better performance then 8G as the recommended specifications say but personally I only saw maybe a 1-2 FPS increase going from 8G to 16G with an I5-4690k and GTX 970. I cant say the same for other setups but in my case JUST for DCS....its pointless. Now for other stuff like Blender and Photoshop....different story. Just my 2 cents.

PS. What do you consider bad performance? With everything stock no OC I get 50-70 FPS on caucuses map and 45(las vegas strip)-to 70 fps on NTTR. everything max mirrors off and flat shadows on.

I also have an i5 3570k @ 4.4 and a 970 sscmk2 and 8gb ram and track IR5, I do have dcsW on an ssd though. I turn every thing on high except MSaa, I leave off as even x2 seems to hit my fps. With the way I have it setup, I get 60-130 fps. Do you have your 970 oc'd? I find that if I overclock my ssc2 anything over the factory overclock I get worse FPS. One last thing to check, did you flip the bios switch on your 970? the ssc and ssc2 have dual bios, the stock first setting is no dbi mode, low fan speed and capped power, the second raises the stock fan profile, and give you more power to play with if you do OC it even higher.
