Hello.

Installed DCS to try it out, however after mapping up my controller I find that the game does not register input from my thumbstick axis's. Trigger axis's registers and all other buttons on the controller works as well.

I have also tested in other games to make sure it's not an issue with my hardware or software.

I am using 'XBOX 360 Wireless Reciver for Windows' with a standard 'Xbox 360 Wireless Controller'.

I've seen that other people had some issues with this as well when before they did not. Uncertain but it seems to have happened with the 1.5.3 release(can't confirm as I just 3 days ago installed the game).

There is a post in the beta section of the forum detailing what seems to be the same issue.

same here, I use a modified controller as a collective and it does not take any input.

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
