Okay folks. I've been silent for nearly a week now because I was busy with a game stopping bug that at last was killed today. :cheer3nc::drunk:

You did not experience this bug, because we never released the aircraft for update with it. :wassat: Basically STT lock was disabled. Long story short, it took me a week to find the bug: a "-" sign where a "+" should have been used. It is the little things that create migraine headaches. :crash:

Anyway that particular critter has been squashed and the radar is back to working condition.

BTW, I also solved two other bugs:

STT aperture limits, which basically created a too narrow tracking zone. Now it is as the real one with a 120º arc.

CCM bug: A problem with the antenna stabilization that was solved. :music_whistling:

Awesome and thanks!

Muchas gracias!

Excellent news, I look forward to being able to put the aircraft fully to the test!

After some testing with the latest update there are some bugs.

1) The radar elevation change when rolling the aircraft in PID (TWS) mode persists. Try to lock once a target (RWS -> PID), and when you roll (90 deg.) left or right, the maximum - minimum scan area change crazy, and the target is lost,

2) In PIC (STT) , we can now take offset without loosing contact with the target. What seems to be bugy is the target position / intercept line, which moves left / right only by rolling the aircraft and without changing our heading. Try to lock a target in stt, and take an offset of 45 - 50 deg. to the left (the target marked with the intercept line moves to the right on the screen). Now, if i roll the aircraft to the right , the target / intercept line moves back to the center of the screen , even without performing the turn (pulling back on the stick).

Yes. Already noted yesterday. Checking to see what happened. Thanks.

Also, switching between different modes, changes the scan elevation, which results often to target loss.

Was flying at 40K , target ahead 20 - 30 miles flying at 16K (and gaining altitude). In rws the altitude scan area was 27 - 5, with target lock (PID) the value changed to 38 -17 , second lock (PIC) value 45 - 25, target was gone .

I'm just made those, I'll make a post soon on a side note what's caret mode?
Since you're at it, any chance you could squeeze in a normal keybind for the taxi lights? Right now it's either OFF or TAKEOFF, without the option in between.

I mean the switch to the right of the scope mode switch, it selects wether besides the caret the mean altitude or the base and top altitudes are shown. I don't believe there are normal keybinds about it.

Okay I'll add that too

Umm ... where are taxi lights lol?

Edit: Nvm I guess you were talking about landing lights
