The Saitek Aviator represents a new direction in joystick design. The groundbreaking dual throttles and a wealth of programmable switches and controls make the Aviator the perfect joystick for the latest flight games. I dont think there are enough buttons on there to warrant selecting it over the x52/45 for LO! But as you say its a bit cheaper. What I want is MORE buttons! I like how they ditched those X-Wing looks in favour of the clean X36-style look. IMO Saitek always makes poor decisions when it comes to choosing switches and buttons for their joysticks. This leaves their hotas looking “toy” like at best and doesn’t look like something that was designed for the more serious gamer.
