Slip/skid ball tracks actual slip angle, not G-force

Reproduction steps:

1. Get in a Mig 21 that starts on the ground in a mission that has surface wind.

 

2. Taxi so the wind is hitting you from the side and stop.

 

The ball will be off center even though it shouldn't be able to "feel" the wind because the craft is level and at rest. This is assuming it's a regular ball, if it is moved by inputs from the AOA probe in real life feel free to correct me.

 

Edit: To be more specific, I'm referring to the ball under the attitude indicator. I will need to test this again to see if the ball in the vario moves.
