HiJack
I believe the pilots also had a great flight. The F-35 is very comfortable I've heard. They did lift out quite a bit of gear from the cockpit after landing :music_whistling: EDIT: Also glad to see the important relationship between Nederland and Norway continues after the F-16 area  https://www.defensie.nl/actueel/nieuws/2016/05/23/f-35%E2%80%99s-in-nederland Edited May 23, 2016 by HiJack
159th_Falcon
Now, what I am curious about is at what distance the Dutch LCF frigate picked up the F-35 on its radar.:music_whistling: One of these i mean; [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
GeorgeLKMT
Probably from quite far away considering they had radar reflectors mounted: ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
QuiGon
[...] EDIT: Also glad to see the important relationship between Nederland and Norway continues after the F-16 area  https://www.defensie.nl/actueel/nieuws/2016/05/23/f-35%E2%80%99s-in-nederland Not just Norway, but probably also Denmark and eventually Belgium as well. The northern europe F-16 fighter club now turns into an F-35 club. :D It's nice, because it offers these smaller countries some more possibilities regarding training/deployments through cooperation. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! The air force of our countries have always played a strategic role in NATO ... Unfortunately, the price of one f-35 would get our budget deficit fixed for this year. ... And playing dcs makes us learn that in a real combat situation these expensive planes won't make the difference... Pilotasso
Our experience as virtual pilots will hardly translate realistically to what the real world pilots would do. We do not fear death by slaloming missiles for starters. :D The F-35 explores the options of having longer range and less support needed.
