saving missions

I cannot save my missions.

 

Is this a general problem.

How do I get round it.

 

Veru frustrated, please help

Tip: Well someone will correct me if I’m wrong but saving missions is a waste of time because playing from a saved state file wont work. What I do if I need to start the mission again is just accelerate the sim a few times (ctrl + A) until I get to the good part ;) then I go back to normal speed (shift + A).

But the problem is the save does not work it actually replies

'file could not be saved'

there is no reason why

 

 

very occasionally it does and the save state is reusable but most times it fails

Mmm that is weird. Maybe there’s already a file by the same name in the folder you’re trying save it in? Try saving it in a different folder and see.

 

Anyway don’t pull your hair out about it because the whole “saving mission” process can be very buggy so if you come up against a problem then just accelerate the sim as I suggested and you can get back to the place in the mission in a few seconds/ minutes.

 

Lastly post your problem in the bugs forum and you never know someone might come up with the answer in time.
