But what that pic really shows is that we do have a extensive mesh library that eventually will land into DCS..or not.

Mission: "To intercept and destroy aircraft and airborne missiles in all weather conditions in order to establish and maintain air superiority in a designated area. To deliver air-to-ground ordnance on time in any weather condition. And to provide tactical reconaissance imagery" - F-14 Tomcat Roll Call

Mirage III? Wow... you guys have taken THE jet that defined my childhood and sparked my whole interest in aviation. I have a special emotional connection with that plane.

That comic book is the very first comic book my dad gave me when I was a kid. I still cherish it to this day.

You guys are incredible.

Now we're talking.

After you release Mirage III, Sea Harrier Mk.1 and Super Etendard, I'll even let you make that Pucara.

Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil T-50CM, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro

I remember Wings over Israel game, where M-III was modeled. Was such a pain launching Matra R530 :( with ~5% kill ratio :/ only heat-seeking missiles were effective ... and cannons, of course

Oh yeah baby.

Now all we need is a Nambia/Angolan map ! :)

To BUILD One is Something.

But to FLYis EVERYTHING.

I think it's not a good ideal when DCS have M2000 left before

As already stated work on other Modules dont impact the Progress of the Mirage 2000.

A dev Team is large and the members are specialised at different areas.

So when they are at a part with the module that the module is finished in many of those areas so a number of Dev members can no longer contribute as their areas of expertise has been finished it only makes sense that those members move on to lay down the basics on other modules.

Instead of them just doing nothing while other team members finish up the Mirage 2000.

I was hoping someone would get around to the Mirage III at some point.

Given your work on the M2000, I can't think of a better team to do it.

Since you're doing the IIICJ, is there any chance of getting a Mirage 5 or even the Neshir in the future (same thing, right? :P)?

I think your apparent choice is IMO the smarter way to go. Making a full Malvinas/Falklands edition pack. I wish someone made the islands map itself with a portion of Argentina to at least have an airbase.

With flyable Sea Harrier and Mirage III (we also have the A-4 HoggitDev is doing). Other planes as IA would be good enough atm, like Pucara, Super Etendard, etc. We already have C-130 and someone was making the Sea King i think.

Also as it has been said many times here, we already have a bright future with the Mirage III regarding middle east conflicts, already MiG-15 and MiG-21 are here, SoH map on its way too. Proably a couple of AI would be good, like Su-7, MiG-17, Mystere/Ouragan, etc...and 60/70s battles will be endless.

Went a bit OT, i'm day dreaming sorry. S!

Notice though that the Israeli Mirage IIICJ "Shahak" were equipped with the Atar 09b engine with the two piece clamshell or eyelid like variable exhaust can.

Later variants of the Mirage III were equipped with the Atar 09C engine, with the typical petal-style variable exhaust like in pic above by IvanK.

For any Aussies and anyone else that cares, here are the flight, performance and weapon employment manuals for the Mirage IIIO
