taxman1 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 (edited) Just did a reinstall after up grading to a newer system. When I go to view my aircraft in the out side view F2 it is fuzzy, not very sharp or clear. When inside the cockpit the view is very sharp and clear. My video system set up is as follows: Textures to shadows: all high. 1920 x 1080 Aspect ratio 1.7777etc. 1 Screen 1024 16x HDR: On Depth of field: Boken Lens effect: Dirt & Flare Anisotropic filtering: 16x Flat terran: Off Rest Off. Is there a setting I am missing?, or am I looking in the wrong area? Using beta 1.51. New system is as follows: Core: I7-4790K, no over clock. MB: ASUS Z97-A. GPU: EVGA 980Ti 6g. HD: Samsung SSD 1TB. Thank for any help:thumbup: Edited June 6, 2016 by taxman1 Forgot vervison

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 6, 2016 ED Team Posted June 6, 2016 What does "Boken" mean please? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh In photography, bokeh (originally /ˈboʊkɛ/,[1] /ˈboʊkeɪ/ boh-kay — also sometimes pronounced as /ˈboʊkə/ boh-kə,[2] Japanese: [boke]) is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens.[3][4][5] Bokeh has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light".[6] Differences in lens aberrations and aperture shape cause some lens designs to blur the image in a way that is pleasing to the eye, while others produce blurring that is unpleasant or distracting—"good" and "bad" bokeh, respectively.[7] Bokeh occurs for parts of the scene that lie outside the depth of field. Photographers sometimes deliberately use a shallow focus technique to create images with prominent out-of-focus regions. Bokeh is often most visible around small background highlights, such as specular reflections and light sources, which is why it is often associated with such areas.[7] However, bokeh is not limited to highlights; blur occurs in all out-of-focus regions of the image. Camembert Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Thanks BIGNEWY. Sounds a bit like the blur I get in my brain sometimes.
