Toggle Switch and Command

Hi.

 

I use X-55, and want to assign Master Arm Switch to a toggle switch on X-55 Throttle.

I do that; in-game, I push and release the toggle switch on my X-55.

However, Gazelle's Mater Arm Switch goes ON position, and comes back to default position.

 

In diff file it says ["d283pnilu283cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] etc.etc. I tried something but failed.

 

Anyone can help?

Edit: Default.lua file for joystick:

down = iCommandSwitchMasterArm, up = iCommandSwitchMasterArm, name = _('SA342 Master arm On/Off'), category = _('SA342 Main Panel')},

 

If I remove up = iCommandSwitchMasterArm part, my toggle switch works, but this is a temp solution.

Yep. same here. I think having 2 bindings (on and off) for every switch is good idea, some of the modules have it. Oh, and i think that there is no binding for trimm switch in controls list.

Trim switch? If you mean trimmer on cyclic. It's there.

It's SA342 Trimmer in SA342 Pilot Stick category.

This is intended, this makes the switches work for single state switches, such as found on the TM WH, and many custom panels, however they should really include binding options for other inputs, although it's not hard to do yourself. I have custom default LUAs for all the modules to work with the TM WH and my panels, and simply keep them in a JSGME mod, with the Gazelle for once I didn't have to make many custom inputs.

There's a tiny bug about that. Notice that you'll see double "Magnetic Brake Switch" lines in controls. One is Magnetic Brake itself, other is Trim Switch. That's a little mistake I think.

Or you could spend two minutes to edit the default.lua like I've had to do for all the other aircraft to work with my controls. Everyone's setup is different.

Personally I have been doing that for very long time, but with Gazelle unit I wanted to try that diff.lua thing. Failed.

 

I think I'll go back to edit/modify default.lua as usual.

It's on my list. We're a bit busy with multi crew and FFB testing right now. But we are looking at updating the inputs file to aid pit builders, so we'll try to resolve this at that time.

Just bought the Gazelle and same problem.

Lot of functions mapped to joystick buttons (TM Warthog) can't toggle, they move but come back to position.
