tom1502 Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Hi all, I no longer seem to be able to get the aircraft to start - since my walk through by Mattebubben I've been able to start it up fine. However, in the last week or so, when I turn on the power switch it now switches on all power, so everythin lights up in the cockpit. Previously it did not do this until the throttle had been advanced and the engine had spooled up. Right now I select all the switches as instructed, press the starter button and nothing happens. The only thing that I am aware of changing is that I am now using Oculus Rift. The thing is this is happening in both DCS 1.5 and 2.0, and there is a big difference between the two when using OR (2.0 being so much better). Can anyone advise here? I do not know what I am doing wrong. Thanks, Tom Windows 10 Home - 64 Bit Intel Core i7-9770K 32GB DDR4 RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti Oculus Rift S
QuiGon Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 There now is a fuel cutoff switch on the enginge panel (where the engine start button is) with an orange safety guard that needs to be activated before you can start the engine. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
tom1502 Posted June 8, 2016 Author Posted June 8, 2016 I'll have a look for that, thanks. Windows 10 Home - 64 Bit Intel Core i7-9770K 32GB DDR4 RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti Oculus Rift S
3rd Wing - Raiden Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 FBW TEST is also functioning now Yep, but it does not prevent to start the engine.
ZHeN Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Yep, but it does not prevent to start the engine. right, but the annoying decol light won't go off if you don't do it [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mattebubben Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 And Tom if you still have me on steam just message me any time if you need help with a new start up change (i tend to stay up to date). But yet my guess would be it could be the Fuel Cut-off Valve as im not sure if that had been added when i helped you.
