Bf 109 K4, bug ?

Can anyone help me, please ?

I purchased 2 days ago, this aircraft, but after i start the game, the whole image starts shaking like crazy, i have to exit the mission / DCS / but after i start the game again, the same issue...

This is happent only with Bf 109 K4.

Any ideas, guys ? Could be a conflict ( settings ) between TrackIR5 and the joystick / H.O.T.A.S ?

komisch Ich habe das gleiche problem wenn ich nur im Mig 21 bis cockpit bin. Vielleicht ist das ein graphics engine problem ? :helpsmilie:

I do not have this issue ith DCS 2.x.x

Any ideas ? Should i try to uninstall / reinstall DCS 1.5.x ?

Might be worth trying to remove Your custom, 109-specific input files from Saved Games on C: drive to see if it's TrackIR and controllers related (most probably is).

LE : I removed the profile settings for BF 109, removed the aircraft, installed again, played for about 10 minutes, seems to be okay, so far

That's very annoying, i can't fix it.

I uninstall DCS 1.5.x, removed everything, even the folder from "Saved Games " but after i reinstalled it, i have the same issue, and now i played DCS 2.x.x and after about 10 minutes, with the same aircraft, Bf 109, same issue.

I guess there is something about TrackIR5 incompatibility with Bf 109

You sure your graphics card is all right? What can be seen in the clip you send is a crazy graphics corruption, that doesn't looks like a trackIR only problem. And you say all other modules works flawlessly? Have you tried?

Since you say that this happens only with the Bf-109 (and Dieter has it only with the MIG-21) I would think that it's a conflict between control settings. By default after installation, some of the commands (rows) have settings in more than one column. I recommend that you check every row, from Pedals at the left all the way to Mouse at the right, and make sure you have settings only for one device (except Keyboard) per row.

My first check would be the top 5 rows under Axis Commands. They should only have settings in the TrackIR column.

Note: I use TrackIR 5 with all my modules without problems.

My modules: Flaming Cliffs esp. F-15C, A-10C, FW-190, P-51, Bf-109, MIG-21, F-86, L-39, Mirage 2000, KA-50

I have tried all the modules with DCS 1.5.x and 2.x.x and i have no issues, at all.

ONLY with Bf 109. I also tried with and without TrackIR5, same story.

If my graphics card wouldn't be all right, i guess i should see some other issues, with other games i play.

I did remove some settings in more than one column, i will play / test / and see what happent

I use the Warthog HOTAS (throttle and koystick).

I couldn't view your video because I don't seem to have the program for .AVI format. But I got something like you describe when I push the "5" on the Numeric Keypad with my TrackIR enabled.

So if you have a button on your throttle or joystick mapped to "View Center" and that button is in the "ON" position you would get the "shaking view".

I always use the "5" on the Numeric keypad - assigned to the joystick as well, for "view center "

That's strange. Anyway, i'll keep testing today and tomorrow.

I will report back, if i have the issue or not.

Pretty weird mate. Sorry can't help. But you say with and without trackIR it still happens? Did you try updating graphic drivers?

Don't know how to help really. For testing purposes, I've just done a 50 min flight in 1.5.3 and nothing like that happened to me. My view-related settings are: TrackIR z-axis assigned to zoom, view position in special options set to "cruise". I never reset views or TiR during flight. I use last year TrackIR firmware, before recent update. Flying on HOTAS Warthog, not using any software profilers.

Certainly looks like a bad key assignment to me. Did you completely delete the profiles for the 109 when you redid them? The 109 folder in your Saved Games folder?

Uninstalling wont effect your saved games folder though, where your profiles are stored, just wanted to make sure you started our clean in that sense.

 

How many other modules do you have, you may need to delete/move that entire folder in Saved games, and let the sim create a new one.
