Razor18 Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Hi There, if I start DCS World, it checks for updates first. If I don't want this, which application starts the game (after update check or updating is complete), so I can put a shortcut on the desktop. Is it run.exe in DCS world root folder, or DCS.exe in the Bin folder? Apparently both do, but probably one of them is rather recommended for proper start THX
SkateZilla Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 DCS.EXE Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
Razor18 Posted June 13, 2016 Author Posted June 13, 2016 THX a lot!!! I used run.exe till now. Is it then "after" dcs.exe in the startup?
ricktoberfest Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Curious as to why it bothers you? It takes about 5 seconds the first time you start the game in any 24 hour period. You can refuse the update if you wish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Razor18 Posted June 13, 2016 Author Posted June 13, 2016 Curious as to why it bothers you? The question is not to update or not DCS. I'm trying to set up TSNotifier for DCS. To that you need to enable the .exe-s in the TS's .ini file that start any application, for TSNotifier to start together with them. But until now, it works well only until I start DCS, then TSNotifier simply crashes out on me.
