All of Australia, including at least 100 miles of water/land around it. The diversity in terrain, alone, could keep people busy for quite some time.

Oh, and set in the early 1940's.

I would go with Norway. No its not an area of conflict, well in WWII, but the scenery in Norway is simply gorgeous. Their 'Fjords' are just breath taking.

All Southern California military bases and airfields for training, like the ranges in Twentynine Palms and the Chocolate Mountains and testing aircraft at Edwards AFB.Also Miramar NAS circa 1970s through the 80s era with a Top Gun DLC campaign to go with it.Other maps i would like to see are Pensacola NAS and Randolph AFB for training future fighter/attack pilots. The Pacific region, primarily East Asia and a Mediterranean map covering southern Europe and North Africa too.
