Hello everyone, I'd like to thank all of you for your interest in the campaign.

Some of this information may be redundant with what you can find on the original announcement page.

Intro stories to the campaign. (These exist in your doc file as well, but to save from digging through your hard drive, here they are)

Full Size Mission Briefings for every briefing page of every mission.

(needless to say, this has Spoiler Alert written all over it. Consider yourself warned if you go ahead and click on a mission you haven't gotten to yet.)

Here are some helpful guides for flying the aircraft. Heavily leaning towards the MiG-15 at the moment, I'll be working on some things for the F-86 as well.

YouTube tutorial for Old School Instruments and Navigation that I created. This will help anyone who wants to learn the Radio's and NDB's for the MiG-15 and/or F-86.

For Missions that are particularly difficult for one reason or another, I've made a guide to help you get through them.

SPOILER ALERT for those who watch this video. This shows a step-by-step progression of the "Cloak and Dagger" the 16th Stage (Listed as Mission 10 in the briefing) of the Museum Relic Campaign for DCS. The video starts at the initial briefing, and ends back at the ramp, after a successful mission completion. Only watch if you have tried to pass this mission, but have been unsuccessful so far (and have also opted not to do the "Auto-Success" radio command ... or just want to come back for more punishment haha).

I created this video because I believe it may give some people a lot of difficulty. It is a departure from the normal kind of missions that you'll find in DCS. The difficulty here lays in the need to manage instrument like flying skills while low to the ground. Personally it is one of my favorite missions in the campaign, because of its uniqueness.

I hope all of you enjoy the campaign! If there's any questions you may have, feel free to ask!!!

Just curious, where is the mission data saved for this campaign? I was flying it in the 1.5.x "production" version, and would like to copy my data over into the 1.5.x "beta" version. Which is where I'm flying most of the time with VR.

thx,

By default, all campaign progress is stored in your "logbook" file:

Saved Games\DCS\Mission Editor\logbook.lua

Just copy this one over to DCS.openbeta and you should be good to go.

(I haven't started this campaign yet, but I don't think payware-campaigns store their progress outside of the logbook file).

Thanks buddy! I'd rep you, but it keeps saying I need to spread it around. :pilotfly::thumbup:

MiG-15 Campaign Won't Progress

Hi there!

First of all, I'd like to say thanks for creating such an awesome DLC. I seem to ne having one issue with the MiG campaign: after completing mission 5, I end the mission, go into the campaign to start the next mission, but it is saying that I only completed four missions and wants to start me at #5 again. The first time, I overshot the intersection, so I thought that may have something to do with it, even though it said mission complete, but after the second time completing the mission and parked in the correct spot, it still takes me back to redo this mission. Any clue why it may be doing this? Thanks.

Hello Gaijin, Thanks for the report. This is an odd bug, and I'm encountering it too. However I can't progress past mission 4. Not sure how you got to mission 5. haha. Anyway, I've made the folks at ED aware, and hopefully a solution will be found soon.

What you can do in the mean time is fly each mission individually. You can find them by going through the DCS folders on your hard drive, ex: DCSWorld OpenBeta -> Mods -> campaigns -> The Museum Relic

You will find some other issues though unfortunately; with the F-4E. Mission 7 (and others) have the F-4E in it, and that aircraft is currently broken in 2.5 beta because the model is the work in progress one by Belsimtek, and not released publicly. This problem is affecting many other campaigns too. ED knows about that problem and will be addressing it.

I apologize that these issues have cropped up. And please, if you see any other problems, do let us know!

Thanks again!
