Cant set buttons on warthog throttle

I have warthog throttle. Trying to configure Elevator trimming switch to China Hat (foward/backward). It sets it in the menu but when I goto plane nothing happens. Anyone have an idea? Im not running target. I reinstalled dcs etc. Airbrakes (pre-mapped) works just fine on throttle.

Frustrating!

Maybe the hat has a double assignment?

"Nothing happens", like the trim switch in the pit is not moving at all, or it's moving, but doesn't seem to work in flight?

It seems when I have game avionics mode on.. it wont let me assign keys to throttle. Once its turned off all is well. Must be a bug? Drove me crazy. Thanks for the replys.
