Strider32
Hi everyone, I was wondering how you retexture the trees without getting that shimmering from long range. I use GIMP 2.8 My Liveries https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/filter/user-is-Strider32/apply/ Intel Core i7-6700K @4.0 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB | 8GB DDR4 x2 | Kingston 256GB SSD (OS Installed) | Crucial BX500 1TB SSD (DCS World Installed) | Toshiba 1TB HDD | Windows 10 64bit | LG 27" 75Hz Monitor | TM Warthog w/VIRPIL WarBRD Base | Saitek Pro Flight Pedals | Track IR
zaelu
You need to add mipmaps (normally they are available already even in vanilla but also in mod packs by Sarway etc) if you moded them yourself. This is done with plugins from nvidia for photoshop... I am not aware of them being available for other software. Secondly... if you have mipmaps and see shimmering go to your nvidia 3d settings (if you have an nvidia card) and enable transparency antialiasing to multisample 2x (at least... little performance loss might appear) Also to stop tearing enable vsync. gospadin
DXTBMP can generate DXT1/3/5 format .dds files with mipmaps, using .bmp inputs.
