Guest Tobi Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Hi, at the moment i´m working on my own cockpit skin. During my work i located a little bug with a screw at the throttle area. I checked the installation with the repair function. No effect. I deleted the complete installation and installed it new. No effect. Here i made short video. Did someone have same problem?:hmm: There is also a texture bug at the buttons. but meanwhile i fixed it in my own texture:).

Rowan Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Maybe send Devrim a PM, I think he knows how it's done.
Buzzles Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 The black knobs were reported in this topic: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=164471 Hopefully as derelor has seen it, he'll have either put a bug report in or know it's already in the tracker. SkateZilla Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Some Metallic Knobs are polished/smooth on top and only textured around the sides.. I have Radio knobs the look exactly like that, the aircraft BST Sourced may also have looked like that. Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs

Skate, in 1.5 Release + 2.0 Alpha the knobs on the radio compass are currently pitch black on top. Not gloss, not matt, not metallic, no scratches, not shading. No texture at all. Just pure #000000. Aside from the volume knob, which has a pure #FFFFFF line on it. See the attachment (from 2.0), it's clearly a bug as they never used to be like that. They don't look like that in the manual, nor in any older images/videos. Edited September 21, 2016 by Buzzles Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
Bex Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 (edited) ok. I think it´s better to report the screw bug in the "bug and problem" thread. So i opend a thread there.;) Edited September 22, 2016 by Ovis

Skate, I'm not disputing the real thing is black polished metal on top, but there's no polishing or anything currently in the DCS version. If it was polished (ie, a gloss, or even a satin), you'd see it in the transition of light and shadows accross the pit, and you'd see some sort of texturing and reflection. You get nothing. It's really just a solid black fill. I'll revert back to 1.5.3 or something later and do a comparison picture if you like. Edited September 22, 2016 by Buzzles Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
