Gazelle L Crash. DCS v1.5.4.57114

Hi.

 

Description: Entered Virtual Aerobatics Server and entered a slot of Gazelle L Model and crashed.

DCS Version: 1.5.4.57114

Map: Caucus

SP/MP: MP

Reproducible: DCS crashes every time when doing that. Only for L model, M working. Mistral, didn't try.

Step to Reproduce: Same as description.

Mission File: Attached. It crashes at 08:39

Controllers: Saitek X-55 HOTAS

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium.

RAM: 16GB

GPU: i7 2600 @3.1GHz.

Mods: Uninstalled all mods after crash, but it crashes again.

Thanks for filling out the bug report template!

 

I did a quick test tonight after I upgraded to 1.5.4.57114 and was able to replicate your results going to the virtual aerobatics server. I also had the same issue with the L model going to another open server. Wasn't able to test Mistral version.

 

But I did host a server with all version and from when I was hosting I was able to connect to all three versions ok. So it might be only when you connect to another server that the issue happens. Either way, its reproducible and I'll start looking into it.

Just updated to 1.5.4.577288.170 and it seems ok. On virtual aeruobatic server now testing.

My L version also keeps crashing in SP, any self built mission, tried cold and hot start from either farp or airport so far.

M version and Mistral are doing their job well.

latest update 1.5.4.577288.170

i have to correct myself...

quick mission with L version: works

create new mission L version: works

take existing and working mission of any helicopter and change player unit to L version: works

 

take existing mission, do as above but save/overwrite it to another mission: crash

 

take this crashing mission and change unit back to either M or Mistral version: works

 

i hope this is not too confusing

Oh sorry I didn't write that. Yes! VA Server, again.

Didn't try in other servers. Will do it tonight.
