Mission 1 - Hawg 1-2 crashes into Humvee on taxiway after landing.

I complete the mission (in my typical sloppy fashion) followed by a landing and shutdown...as I wait for my flight to land, Hawg 1-2 lands and plows straight into the Humvee parked by the C-130...the other two Hogs pile up behind him.

 

Too much Soju in the ammo bowl!

Did you hit the FOB Suse trigger (Whiplash-1 describes FOB Suse)? The HMMV and tanker truck despawn once that trigger is activated.

Follow your flight plan through WP's and you should have no problem.

Don't forget to have the right radio frequency on or you won't get that call from whiplash to trigger. I found that out today.

So I just got new computer, Core I7-6700K (4.0), 32 gigs ram, GTX1080. Played Red Flag and get nothing but stutters on first mission coming in to Nellis. What the hell. This game is really poorly optimized. Come on guys. Will this game ever run smoothly?

There have been numerous postings regarding stuttering, and it is not down to poor optimization of the game.

 

Do a search, and see what snags others have come across. There is one in particular that relates to how your Nvidia settings can screw with frame rates.

 

Also, would you consider this to be a bug related specifically to Op Piercing Fury? If not, why is the post here and causing such blatant thread drift?
