As great as this looks, with the pound and Euro doing so poorly against the dollar, and this being charged in dollars, it will have to wait.

Looks far better than I expected - I had ignored posts about it before, assuming it to be something similar to buttkicker - which I can't use in my set-up.

guys, where would I begin to try and troubleshoot why my jetseat is disconnecting and giving an error message while in sim.

seems like a new issue and I've only tried it with the beta so far. Though I believe my jetseat and buttkicker were working just fine with this new beta til today

thanks Jason

Hi guys, thanks for getting back to me...For whatever reason the error seems to have resolved itself. Unfortunately I can't describe the error other than it would say its disconnected and the simshaker jetseat icon on the taskbar would vanish.

But as I said all seems good now...I will keep you posted. Thank you

I received my Jetseat yesterday, quick postage to Australia. Easy to set up & I really like the effects, it's great in Iracing too (although I didn't realise additional $30 software was required for racing). I have a question, should I be using the simhaker software called DCS or AVIATORS? I installed both & both work but I'm not sure which is better.

Using SSA beta with the sound module and DCS World 2.0 I have tested the A-10C and P-51D's quickstart takeoff missions. In both the taxi bumps are very fast as soon as I start rolling and do not change speed as I do. The bumps don't match up with my speed, they are way too fast.

I was prepared to buy two more transducers and the key for the sound module today if I can get everything working correctly. I really enjoy the AoA effects, even if they start way too late, and look forward to seeing the others, but the ground bumps are an immersion breaker.

F4I0 on the DCS forum said to check the levels because he added a ground roll effect. All the levels are at 50% by default. Does this mean they are equal in strength and the ground rumble is masking the bumps? If this is true, does anyone have a good config to share for a transducer setup that allows you to feel the separate effects at the same time? That would help a bunch of us out. Maybe a good one can be posted in the FAQ too? Maybe I am doing something wrong and they are all supposed to be at the same level?

From the other SoundModule thread:

I tested the new release today and the Ground Bumps and Rolling works pretty good. I did have to turn the Ground Bumps up to 100% in SSA and the Roll down to 40. And also turn my shaker volume up a bit. So, I might have to modify the Ground Bumps with more gain so they don't get totally covered by the rolling. Each setup is different, so that is fine. I like having them separated. And the Engine Rumble seems to be working great. Cheers!! Great work.

After I posted that, I decided to edit the bumps sound files. And once again noticed that I had also edited the rolling sound file probably 2 months ago, and had increased it's gain. I forget about that after so long. So, I restored the original sound files and they work fine. I only have to adjust my gain for bump/rolling to 75/60. That's much better. I'll stick with that.

And so I don't forget what sound files that I have edited. I have made them a JSGME mod that I can install/uninstall easily and test mine against the stock SSA sounds. Much better that way! And I hopefully won't forget since I have that shortcut right next to DCS and SSA shortcuts. ;-)

Adjusted Levels Worked

I just got home and tried adjusting the levels then I threw money at my screen. It didn't seem to work so I went to your shop and ordered it, I've emailed the string in and await my key. Great work! I can't wait to try out the full version. I'm going to order and hook up two more transducers for L/R channels.

Dayton TT25's clacking

When a transducer bottoms out, does it make a loud clack? I am trying to figure out why my new TT25-16s are clacking so much on the ground roll rumble. Could it be the amp clipping? They only do it when I use SimShaker, an online tone generator doesn't really cause it, maybe a little right at 40 Hz but nothing near as loud as SimShaker causes. Also when I adjust the "Test Sound Volume" it sends static along with the tone. It does this with any sound output I select, even my regular speakers. Is this normal? If feel like the clacking could be this static, a short burst whenever the volume changes quickly could make a clack noise. I am pretty new to this stuff, any ideas?

I received the key too late last night so I couldn't really test the full version yet.

Out of the 4 pucks that I ordered one rattled at certain frequencies. Then I remembered when I was mounting them that one did rattle when I would put it down. I didn't think anything of it at the time.

So I called and had it replaced. It was bad. The new one didn't rattle.

Hey guys I was just wanting to ask why the cannon or gun on the blackshark is so weak, and seems to work sometimes and sometimes not at all? I found this thread (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2973519) with someone there saying the same thing so I dont think this is just my problem. Anyone know of a fix?

I want to use the UMV editor to make the cannon feel more powerful, but when editing the files, I came to realize that in the editor the cannon effect is fine, and very powerful, its only in game that it is very weak! So I think this will have to be a bug report!
