[Official] SimShaker for Aviators

Hmmm... as of today when I try and start simshaker it's just crashing. The system tray icon loads momentarily but then disappears.

 

The sound module still loads file, but simshaker doesn't. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and deleting the config folders as well as anything in appdata. Nothing has helped.

 

I can see the app crashing in the windows app event viewer log.

Ok further testing... I installed the 'release version' of 2.2.0.0 and it runs fine.

 

Beta 2.2.3.0 crashes.

quick little question when I export my setting for a aircraft to save them does it save all aircraft say I have different settings for my f-14 then my f18 or do I have to export each one

My Simshaker for Aviators has stopped working in DCS (beta version 2.2.4.0) I have tried a reinstall and still its not working, I have also tried the none beta and its the same it doesnt work in DCS

I have a green light on the Seat Handler and when i test the vibe motors they work fine.

Anyone able to help me trouble shoot this as I have no idea where to start, it used to work every time.

Are you able to use the latest stable version of SSA? When exactly does this error occur?  Any other having the same issue?

I have had SSA stop working a few times recently while changing versions etc - but just hitting the Repair DCS Export button (or w/e it's called) always fixes it.

Its working again, I unplugged my Buttkicker 2 so just the Jetseat is active and it started working again, no idea if this was the issue but its working so I'm happy again.

When this error occurred though was just on boot up of DCS with Simshaker softwear all ready started, I can also tell you I had the same issue on stable which I reverted back too.

Interesting... Looks like you database is corrupt... you could backup/export your settings. Maybe write your settings down or take some screenshots. And then, reset the database, there is a button in the service tab.

Currently I am still flying with the Mi-24P module.

I have installed the last OB Simshaker for aviators (which take the Mi-24P in account) and I have uninstalled the stable version.

But, every time that I am running DCS I have an error message because the stable version of Shimaker was foressen to start with DCS.
I don't remember but I am pretty sure that's because a lua file in DCS has a command line linked to the stable version of Sim4aviators.

 

Could you help me by giving the name of the lua.file and the command that I need to modify to start the OB version of simshaker when DCS is started?

DCS does not start SimShaker, do you use any other scripts to start DCS. Maybe you added SSA there...

I have one 50W transducer under my seat which works extremely well, cant imagine flying without effects now. I was wondering since audio module can differentiate between mono, stereo an 5.1 cards if there are any plans to add more channels to output. I know this is going to complicate things a lot but would love to be able add more speakers to my setup and have ability to tune volumes of effects separately. I'm toying with idea of adding one to stick directly but would only want specific effects to it.

You have got 1 transducer and want to add some more. SimShaker Sound Module supports 1, 2, 4 channel out of the box. Up to 6 channels if you edit the samples.

What's the problem?

I maybe do not understand. I wish to be able to adjust different strength of effects on second channel, or switch some of them off. How do I do that?

Hi, I just got my Jetseat and I love it. However, I'm experiencing an odd issue.

 

Let me explain and then I'll list the exception and the log:

 

When I first boot up my computer, the tray icon shows up, and the balloon pops up. However, upon launching DCS, OR right-clicking the tray icon and selecting "Start SimShaker for Aviators" in crashes with "The system cannot find the file specified".

Now the odd part: After it crashes, and I hit quit- I can run it again, either in DCS or Right-Click, and it works. Saved Settings and everything.

I am guessing you wrote this in Visual Studio. Is there any chance you would give me the source so I could catch the exception on my local computer? I wouldn't want to make any changes, I'll just report to you what I find.

Here is the my export.lua (even after I hit repair it does not work, and takes out the DCS-BIOS line because it doesn't recognize it?). All of this works on the second and subsequent launches, so I don't think it's a problem here.
