************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Do you use the SimShaker Sound Module? Looks like there is something "wrong".

ExportDevice.luaExportCore.lua these from the simshaker folder, just incase

Your Export.lua looks ok, but for a test, you could move the line

dofile(wwtlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/wwt/wwtExport.lua')

to the end of the file.

hi,
after installing (and then uninstalling!) OpenXR, Simshaker for Aviators no longer works!

There is no error message. The window does not open. Nothing at all.
Simshaker Sound Module works.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Simshaker for Aviators, but it did not help.

Where should I start looking for a bug?

On the off chance have you checked hidden icons (bottom right in Windows system tray) to see if SSA is there? If so right click and start it. Also update settings to turn off start mimized in system tray

nope nothing, i tried adding a semicolon too before every "dofile". not sure why beta never works, i tried for about a year. the non-beta simshaker works fine (i deleted it before installing beta as well) i keep trying different things 😕

Please, I need your help!

SSA no longer starts.
No programme window opens, no error message comes up, nothing....

I have several times SSA deinstalled and installed

Does anyone have an idea what this could be related to

Sorry, but I don't know what you mean.

When I start SSA, it appears briefly in Task Manager and then disappears again.

Whenever I install SSA by default it minimises to the system tray and is hidden. I have to access it by clicking on the ^ bottom right on the Windows bar. From here I can see the SSA icon and can right click on it to change settings and untick the minimise to system tray option. Then when I click on the SSA icon on my desktop I get a window where I can start Simshaker.

Ah ok!  Thanks for your explanation!
The icon only appears (briefly) when I start SSA. Then it disappears again when I move the mouse over it.

When everything was still working, I started SSA via an icon on the desktop

It seems that SSA does not start at all. That can't be right, can it?
It worked for over 3 months. And after an uninstallation and a fresh installation (of SSA and Simshaker Sound Module, plus cleaning and repairing DCS) it should work again.

Do I really have to reinstall Windows completely?

Are you 100% sure it isn't just minimised in the system tray, bottom right of taskbar. This has been mentioned already. Newly installed apps can be further hidden in the menu that appears when you click on the small white arrow. This caught me out at first.

Hello all,

I installed Simshaker for Aviators v 2.3.10 beta and I get an error about the jetseat. I do not have the jetseat and I will try and copy the error message next time I see it but is there a way to get rid of the error message about the jetseat?

Hello all,

I installed Simshaker for Aviators v 2.3.10 beta and I do not see any of my modules listed only the generic ones.. It worked fine with the 2.3.00. I am running Open XR for DCS if that matters.

But the main reason I wanted to try the Beta was the Apache that is not there either??

I think the modules get added once they have been run in DCS with SSA running.

Thank you for your tip!
But I can also start SSA from the Windows programme menu, right?
So far I have started SSA via a linked icon on the desktop. This has worked fine in the past.

Again: SSA does not start when I open it.
With Alt+tab you can step through the running programmes. SSA no longer appears there.
