I expected it for engine, but couldn't feel flares release, either. The one effect that I think is a must is when you get hit, that effect is not there, and its not even listed in the WWII airplanes, but it is listed in generic planes. You can see here how many more effects does general piston aircraft has than the P51. Ideally its a nice idea to have a custom effect for each plane, like it is happening right now, but , not having hits effects is bad. Hi, it looks like SSA can't start SimShaker Sound Module. What if you start the latter manually and then start SSA? I can not reproduce your issues on my side. I just started the Shooting Range instant action mission and fired the gun. Which SSA version do you use? Could you please disable all effects except the cannon/gun effect and try again?
