VTJS17_Fire Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Hi ED Team, I read somewhere in the forums, that you want to create/provide some charts for the Nevada airports. Good idea, so far. But: Why don't you use the real frequencies, for Nellis AFB for example? Is this forbidden? DCS and the mission editor support frequencies with decimal place, so why not using it? With that, we could use the real charts, which you get "free" from airnav.com and other websites. It would also add some immersion to use some decimal frequencies, not only rounded one. :D Kind regards, Fire Hardware: Intel i5 4670K | Zalman NPS9900MAX | GeIL 16GB @1333MHz | Asrock Z97 Pro4 | Sapphire Radeon R9 380X Nitro | Samsung SSDs 840 series 120GB & 250 GB | Samsung HD204UI 2TB | be quiet! gospadin Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 In theory, this should be part of the ATC refactor that's been rumored to be in the works, and will show up with or after the 2.5 merge. I agree, we should have either variable channel spacing between 200 kHz and 8.33 kHz depending on the aircraft's communication hardware. Mission designers will also need to take more care to program the preset channels for planes like the L-39 which cannot manually tune.
