100 degrees? Not really seeing this on my end. All I see is the discrepancy between true and magnetic heading, which is 12° in Nevada afaik.

Switch your HSI to true heading and the HUD tape should correspond with what you see in F2.

Thanks for your reply...my problem was in 2.0.3 instant action take off mission.....lined up on runway 03 but HUD Heading tape is showing 167 degrees. pressing the HSI button gets me 40 degrees...ish. In 1.5 same mission all nicely aligned.

I see. You are absolutely right, there is something fishy there. This is the only mission where I can reproduce the problem though. Wonder what's causing it.

Ah now i remember the problem... it's the January bug again in that particular mission.

I assuming that the F10 Map view is aligned to True North.

It is, so the 12° discrepancy is normal and intended.

Indeed, it is the January magnetic declination bug. Hopefully it will be fixed by ED on next update.

I wonder why this is only affecting the Mirage. Tried a few other modules (F-5, F-86, Bf-109, MiG-21) and all their magnetic compasses show the correct heading.

Probably because they use another function to get their magnetic heading. There are several functions to accomplish this. I used the most simple and it seems the one that is bugged.
