Hi Guys,

I am pulling my hair out with this one and was wondering could anyone help or suggest anything.

I am in the process of putting a mission together and am just building the FARPS. I have the FARPS and supporting units placed and everything looks good, i want to have a medical area just above the FARPS with lots of medical tents there.

I place the tents which are either from Static Objects or from Fortifications and they place on the map.

Going into the game as game master and selecting one of the tents on the map and pressing F7 takes me to the location of the tent, but i cannot see the tent, its not there.

However, doing some testing with a new mission i place 10 tents on the runway and save it as a test and hey presto, i can see the tents.

This is the second time i have started this mission build as I first started it in 1.5.4 but had this issue so thought, hmmm might be because it was started in 1.5.4 and now editing in 1.5.5

I am using the 229th Standard Objects Mod 1.2 mods which are installed in the C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods directory.

I would appreciate some help with this

Many thanks Mith

Welcome to the world of mission generation ala update!!!

There is 'always' something that changes during an update that will mess with previous missions created in different versions. Well alright, not 'always' granted, but I'd say 'more often than not'.

That's not ED's fault per sae - although to be frank, it used to drive me insane and into fury.

Good luck.

PS: sorry I forgot........................roll back the version number and try again. If it works, it may be a DTED change & its effect in 1.5.5
