Hi ED Team,

I'm a loyal customer since forever and have just returned to the sim after waiting for Oculus Rift to come out.

I need to tell you that what you have done in 2.0 is absolutely AMAZING. I am a developer myself so I know the infinite effort that goes into bringing such a marvel to light. But to have the artistic sensibility to create the experience the way you did...

Since my teen years I've been waiting for what I experienced today. The feeling of being there, 10000 ft, in a small canopy, aboard a combat jet. Thank you.

Please keep up the good work. I love you all.

Regards,

Santiago

I fly with my dad almost every day, I am 47. We started in the Falcon 2.0 days when I was in my early 20s. It is just amazing what we have now. We never dreamed that we would have something like DCS. The future looks bright.

Take a look at my setup. I could not even dream this, back in the 1990s.

I just got my Vive a couple of weeks ago. It really adds immersion to DCS. I was surprised to find the helicopter cockpits feeling larger than I would have thought them to be. Thanks for sharing, looks neat!

I don't have VR yet, but we can all agree the DCS looks stunning even on the good old 2D screen. :)

When I first started flying sims 25+ years ago, we had blue skies and flat green ground, with occasional pyramid-shaped hills. Not too many hills, mind you, to keep the fps reasonable. I was ecstatic when eventually ground started to show some geometry, with real valleys and hills instead of pyramids.

At some point I stopped flying sims until a few years ago when I came across DCS World by accident (Wags' half an hour overview video was my first contact with DCS, I watched it with my jaw dropped). Not only good looks, but complexity, realism... my mind was blown! And it was free!

Since then, I bought almost all the modules, and set up a decent flying gear.

So yeah, thank you ED for making me a flight sim addict again. :pilotfly:
