Trackir hat

I was thinking about getting a trackir hat with my purchase of a trackir 4. But I got a couple of questions.

1.) The white reflective tape in front of the regular trackir hat, will that interfere with the signal when I'm wearing the reflective clip?

2.) If I’m not wearing the clip, will the hat (since it has the reflective tape across the front) still work for the trackir 4 pro but only 2dof?

3.) What’s the difference between the trackir hat and a regular hat, I heard the trackir hat was longer or something that allows the clip to fit well. Is this true, because if its not, I can use my regular hat.

the new hat i got does not have any reflective strips and i use it purely with the vector clip :)

 

in fact you could use the vector clip with any baseball cap, it does 2dof or 6 it all depends on what the game supports.

I got a trackir hat free with tir4, and it's not reflective at all, it just has the trackir logo on it. It's no different to a normal cap either. The clip fits just fine on all my caps. Hope this helps

I have a TrackIR Hat with a reflecive strip in the middle as well as Vector Expansion and it works fine... althought I thought what the heck, and painted with black colour over the reflective strip on the hat and left the 3 reflection strips on the Vector Expansion do all the work on their own :D
