Why cant the bonus be used on the spitfire pre-purchase?

I have 12$ bonus, the spitfire comes at a 40$ pre-purchase and the shop says no bonus can be applied.

 

This is idiotic. Don't call it a bonus as this crap is highly misleading.

2. Bonuses Debiting from User Account

 

1.Bonuses are used for partial payment for products at the rate of 1 bonus = 1 ruble, 1 euro, or 1 dollar.

2.A product can be paid by use of bonuses no more than 30% (thirty percent) of the full product price. We retain the right to change this percentage at any time and at our discretion.

3.The following rules are applied to bonuses accrued for purchases made after February 20th, 2014: 100% of the bonus will be cancelled without return and/or recovery in case the customer does not make a purchase within one year from the date of the last purchase from the DCS e-shop.

4.Bonuses can be used to pay any DCS product that is participating in the bonus system, other than products that are subject to promotions, discounts and other special purchase program, including during sales. 3rd party partner products may choose to participate in the bonus program at their own discretion.

5.Bonuses cannot be used to pay for products marked as “NEW”.

6.Bonuses can be canceled if : Bonuses were incorrectly accrued due to a technical failure, a failure of the software, or if the accrual of bonuses was the result of fraud.

You can't spend bonus points on products that are already discounted, like the preorders. You'll have to wait until it gets released, then you should be able to use the bonus but it will be applied to the full price of 50$.

Its still misleading. A 10$ bonus is not really worth 10$ when its use is narrowed down to exactly when ED wants it and when the customer has no use for it.

 

ED sucks at this customer relations stuff.
