Kenan
From the README: Buddy SU33 refueling mod for Lockon 1.12a v1.0 ---------------------------------------------- This is a mod that will replace IL78M with an SU33 and allow for some more realistic naval ops, ie. SU33 buddy refueling. GOODS: 1. You can refuel using the default 2T middle boom. 2. Collision meshes are those of SU33's so there's no invisible 'barriers'. 3. Buddy SU33 also has original engine sounds BADS: 1. Buddy SU33 can't take off from carrier 2. The refueling boom(s) are invisible (like in MP) Anyway, I hope you will like it! There may be some minor updates in the future! How to install: --------------- First, backup the Lockon/Bazar/World/Shapes/ IL-78M-OBLOMOK-WING-R.cmd IL-78M-OBLOMOK-WING-L.cmd IL-78M-OBLOMOK.cmd IL-78M.cmd files and replace them with the ones in the zip file. After you done that, go to Lockon/Sounds/Effects/ Backup the following files: IL76FrontEngine.ogg IL76FrontEngine.ogg And replace them with the ones in the ZIP. Enjoy! SuperKungFu
Too bad we can't actually see the hose, otherwise that would be freakin awesome. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Disso
Great idea! Never thought of simply replacing the IL76's model with the Su33's. Too bad you can't see the refueling booms. SU-30MKI F/A-18F ...Beauty, grace, lethality.
Kenan
Great idea! Never thought of simply replacing the IL76's model with the Su33's. Too bad you can't see the refueling booms. I believe any better modder could be able to fix that problem if there was an import plugin for the Lomac models in 3D Max. One could simply load up the IL78 with its hoses, extract the needed parts and animations and add it to the su33 model. The coding is already there, so all you need is a physical representation. Force_Feedback
But then you'll have a su-33 with a hose sticking out, no actual hose animation, or are you talking about importing that piece of il-78M's model to the su-33. The devs could also have made a seperate UPAZ, and let us stick it onto the il-78/su-33/su-24M/su-34 and everyone would be happy ;) Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:

I'm 100% convinced if we had the right tools, making it would be peace of cake. Actually, if ED wanted, they could introduce this in Black Shark. pho3nix
This is a realy great idea, would be great if ED implememted it such that you could have actual human pilots controling both aircrafts... from what i here though, that would requiere a relook into the multiplayer refuling code
