using the A-10C profile

IFCC (384) does not seem to send info to DCS correction. if the Ikarus switch in at the

"on" position, if I move it to "test"position, DCS receive a "OFF" position.

the bottom switch farder right ( touchpanel) does not seem to do anything

Same with master arm(375) ; main gun(376), laser (377) taxi light (655)

so it seems that theire is someting to adjust with 3 way switches

Touche panel switch does not seems to do anyting

Whish list :

- close/open cockpit,

Thanks for you time

I have tryed GIMP2 and paint.net.

Paint.net is way easier to use for this simple task

Hope that helps

Ray

That sounds great! I have no idea how to do it though, can you provide brief instruction? I would be happy to learn. I have no idea what the task would be sir.

Thank you very much! Now I know how to do it on my own.

I wish I could help you with your switch, but I do not have any knowledge of that stuff yet. i am just learning this.

About the 3ways switches.

I am sure H-J-P will reply and find a solution.

Thanks Ray

This one is a little more tricky since there are 2 layers. I was able to make the Harrier VHF radio window transparent, but the radio data will not export through the Base panel AND the VHF panel? I dont know how to do that?

may be you could look at the way the A-10C is done then, find a way to export it to the Harrier VHF radio window ?

I suppose I could if i knew what I was doing. That is beyond my current abilities. I simply have no experience at that level. I will try to figure out how during the week. Thanks

well

I spend some time reading the WIKI and most of the doc.

I use to do some programming many years ago but to be honest. I hope H-J-P will help us out.

because I will spend undred of hours to first understand the be able to fix any code.

Modifiying an interface to fit a screen is one thing. Modifify code to work with DCS is an other.

I'll take a look again. The A-10C profile was one of the first we developed. Thanks for the IDs. That helps a lot. Good report.

There is also a wiki for the export script. Everyone should know that, too.

https://github.com/s-d-a/DCS-ExportScripts/wiki

If someone has understood that too, then he can solve many things himself.

Correction needed

Thanks for your time !!!

beside the 5 3-ways switches and the "touch -panel" one, everything works perfectly.

here it is :

I would realy do appreciate if you could fix those.

If you have the time to ha a canopi open/close that would be a very great add-on.

About the suggestion to go to the WIKIs (their is some of them)

I have read it. To be real honest, my programming time are about 20 years behing me so, it is a bit hard for me to find what I am looking for.

Thanks anyway for each minutes you will spend looking to it for us.

Hello everyone,

I've been looking at the AV-8B profile in Ikarus, and it is a great piece of work. Apologies if I have missed the answer to this, but my searches turned up nothing.

Unfortunately I cannot find a DCS-Exports for the AV-8B. For most devices I can work them out, but for devices in the synthetic range (ie 2000 upwards) and which are calculated in the Exports.lua, I'm struggling to identify the sub-devices for the AV-8B. Does anyone have an export.lua which calculates the values for all of the devices in the AV-8B DisplayDotMatix classes? If so, would you mind sharing with me please?

Many thanks

Many thanks for the response Heinz. I realise this is a little cheeky for me to ask, but it would help me a lot if you could post or PM me with the senddata lines for devices 2000 - 2018. I'd also be interested to know if you think it would be possible to expose the ODU messages directly (ie without using a viewport).

Sorry, but we have not found the Ids of the ODU displays. It looks like only the viewport solution works.

It is very difficult if the mainpanel_init.lua is actually almost empty. Of course we still have possibilities, but they too are limited. It costs time. That should not be.

I'm having some crazy performance issues running this software. Lets talk about my setup first, though, 4 Displays:

1x Primary: ASUS ROG 34" 3440x1440

3x Secondary 8" 800x600

I'm running DCS in windowed mode, with the game extended to the secondary monitors. I have setup the F-15 to export two separate 'windows' to two of the monitors (one of HSI and one for ADI).

In the Export.lua file I have added the line:

dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportScript.lua]])

When Ikarus is running (or even not running) I am seeing wild frame rates between 19-30fps. When I comment out the dofile line my frames stay contantly at 60FPS.

--dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportScript.lua]])

Is this a known issue? I tried searching this thread but didn't see any direct answers. You'll find my computer setup below in my signature. When I'm running all 4 monitors I turn off SLI and have one of the GTX 1080Ti devoted to the secondary monitors.

Thoughts??

UPDATE:

I went into the Config file in the DCS-ExportScript folder and set both D.A.C. (DCS Arcaze Connector) and Ikarus and D.A.C. can send data from true to false, which improved my frames. I'm mostly stable at 60FPS but it stutters occasionally; is this normal behavior?
