Thanks Raab for the hint. I have a look at it. Otherwise, everything is OK?

Why am I not getting any DCS ID or Function list?

219978466_Screenshot(2).thumb.png.c64f530828ac50a00cfaf5f73a315bd2.png

and profiles are not interacting with DCS

Ok I deleted old version and downloaded 1.5.5.425 and now I get list... but why when I save profile I don't get a XML Document for it like the other profiles have?

Does that have anything to do with why it's not working in DCS?

Copy the xml file and give it the same name as your ikarus file. Then you get the selection.

Everything is controlled and loaded accordingly via the names of the files. Also the files for the data export work like that.

That's how DCS works. That's not my invention.

The best way to do it yourself is to rename my * .Ikarus file and create a file with the same name and structure. For this the Empty.ikarus file is actually there.

Then you also get back the data from the exportscript.

But I would recommend to simply modify the existing * .Ikarus file. I wish you success.

P.S. Please secure before each update and then replace it with your version.

If I use an exciting profile and change it to what I want... I'd have to change pretty much all backgrounds, panel locations and combine some panels with others and maybe add couple panels and new switches to control those panels. I'm guessing if I do all that that that is going to mess with how it acts in game. But I don't know.

Do it. You certainly understood the file structure? Just use my *.ikarus and change it as you want it. That's the right way for you.

I like to be surprised.

I will try, thanks..... sorry in advance for the million more questions to come )) lol

When copying script file to DCS folder.... "Copy the script folder to your folder: C:\Users\YourUsername\Saved Games\DCS", maybe I copied the wrong script folder...

There are three folders of 'Scripts'... DCS=ExportScripts-master\Scripts\DCS-ExportScript

Is it the last Script folder that needs to be copied to DCS folder location?

exam: C:\Users\YourUsername\Saved Games\DCS\DCS-ExportScript

How about you, if I just install your improvements here?

It's just that I have 3 touch screens, two different sizes, (and maybe a fourth if I do overhead for helos) so I have to change panel dimensions and arrangement of sub-panels and switches to fit them nicely to my monitors.

Some Panel Backgrounds for my right monitor:

Still a work in progress as well as the front panel and panels for my left monitor.
