frumpy Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 Hi guys, with an update a month ago, I do not get past the mission load screen. What usually took 30-45s now takes 30 mins and counting. I tried the repair function at the DOS promt, but it did not help. If anyone has a good idea, I'd like to hear about it :) Now whats next? I thought of... 1) Saving all mission data / keyboard/joystick setup - what folder(s)? 2) Deinstall DCS via Windows programs 3) download DCS 2 and all modules and install How can I reinstall DCS without losing an activation for all modules? Delete folder C;\Users\username\My Savedgames\DCS world and run repair again in administrator! 100 % garanty (i hope for you). :pilotfly: You can hit the start icon dcs with the right mouse button. and add te word "repair" in the command rule. Hit apply, yes against the administrator warning and run. frumpy Posted December 28, 2016 Author Share Posted December 28, 2016 Thanks for helping. I reverted 1.5.5 to 1.5.4 and now it works again. So I probably revert 2.xx to an earlier version too.
