lmp Posted January 4, 2017 Share Posted January 4, 2017 Currently the green heading channel light on the autopilot panel goes out when the channel is disconnected due to pedal movement. Previously it remained lit and only went out when the channel was turned off entirely. According to my colleague from another forum, who is a Mi-8/17 tech, the new behaviour is incorrect. The light stays on when temporarily interrupted by the pedal microswitches, it only goes out when you turn the heading channel off completely.
