fiendlittlewing
Took my Christmas 109 k4 to 9k today. Turned the O2 flow off (confirmed pressure gauge at 0, no flow indication), to see what would happen: nothing. Flew for 10 min w/ no effect. I know this is modeled in other AC, did I do something wrong? Or is there no hypoxia in the 109?
razo+r
there should be, but i experienced this thing too a loooong time ago, a few patches ago...
BodyOrgan
IIRC the effects aren't modeled like the other aircraft. The pilot will just die after a time.
blue_six
IIRC the effects aren't modeled like the other aircraft. The pilot will just die after a time. Believe you're right, BodyOrgan. Last time I tried it, death came suddenly and without warning. One second I was chugging merrily along, looking at the altimeter and marveling at my ability to get along without oxygen. A second later, snap to external view, dead as a doornail.
