Bomb indicator lights

For the K4 the Rüstsatz RII (ETC 50/VIII mit 4 50kg Bomben) was canceled and only RI remained in term of bombloads, which was a single 250kg or 500kg bomb. Therefore the Zusatzgerätebrett was simplified for production K4 and only one bomb indicator light was installed instead of four.

What actually annoys me though is the very low resolution of the bomb indicator light texture. This is probably due to the weird bf109cpt_light.dds alpha channel. It doesnt really fit in the otherwise beautiful high res cockpit.

The following picture is of White 8, a force landed K-4 April 45.

There was many more things that was cancelled, never come across the Prototype status.(But after discussion about the Dora most Player prefer more variety of Weapons then precise Load out)

Fly rare with Bombs absolute Noob at hit something on the Ground, but could this bad resolution from Lamp by intention? don't know how good the Light was back then?

Well, the three further lamps serve no purpose at all. As there currently is not and it is not planned to be included a four bomb rack. The four bomb rack was used since 109 E models early in the war (probably earlier), later in the war the AB cluster bomb containers were preferred.

The low res light is definitely an alpha channel issue of said texture, as I tried modifying the dds and it looked much better.

Funny thing is it also correct labelled, DCS ZSK244A2 you can read it inside the cockpit was designed for the four Bomb Rack solution. ZSK244A is the normal on. Same thing with Wrf.Gr.21 planned at the start but never build in serial Production still switch inside the K4. Not pretty sure they have also 4 Bombs for the Future in Mind as additional Weapon.

(hopefully not it's wrong as you claimed)

For my Point the Light was not an issue for me now, but hopefully some on Respond with more knowledge

Edit: There all Labelled as ZSK244A2 make no difference sry

I am not sure I get what you are saying..

I know the ZSK is correctly labled, but there was never a Zusatzgerätebrett with 4 lights built into a K-4 in serial production. The RII of former 109s with 4x 50kg bomb rack was canceled for the K-4, no 4x 50kg bomb rack was ever used in WW2 on a K-4 officially, ED is not planning on modelling one either as it never was used on a K-4.

I know you know the deutscheluftwaffe site as you have pmed me about it some time ago. Take a look at number 27, they say the same thing. Putting in 4 lights would have been a waste of resources, although the ZSK certainly supported the lamps and 4x 50kg bombs as it was in earlier 109 models.

I mean there is no doubt that was never used on the K4, what did ED prevent to make 4x 50 KG Rack on the K4. Our Plane is more Pre Production/Planning design as serial K4. My Point is it more likley they dont stick with the accurate Loadout in future bring such Weapons as additonal not historical Loadout with the Wrf.Gr.21 as example. But let it see doesnt want to occupie your Thread.
