Home Fries
I'm fine with FC3 level helos as long as they are mostly analog and we won't likely be able to get an ASM due to classification (e.g. AH-64A). In this case, something is better than nothing. However, with the Huey having set the standard, the flight model would need to be PFM/AFM+. -Home Fries My DCS Files and Skins My DCS TARGET Profile for Cougar or Warthog and MFDs F-14B LANTIRN Guide
shagrat
After the Huey, Mi-8 and Gazelle... not really. The switchology isn't that much, so only thing you could tone down is the flight model. But the flight model is what make these DCS helicopters stand out. I guess, I wouldn't enjoy any lo-fi SFM helicopters. A minimum requirement would be full PFM/EFM... If you need an easier handling of the helicopter there is "Game flight mode" (not game avionics!) that "simplifies" the flight model. As much as I consider this as a no-no because it takes all the fun out of helicopter flying, if you are interested in a toned down ArmA like experience, this could be a solution. Keep in mind you won't likely find a Multiplayer server wich allows for "Game flight mode", though! ebabil
I am not sure if I want fc level choopers I just can accept them rather than not having at all. I have been playing Arma may be ten years and I can say that I hate Arma planes definetly and choppers sometimes FC3 | UH-1 | Mi-8 | A-10C II | F/A-18 | Ka-50 III | F-14 | F-16 | AH-64 | Mi-24 | F-5 | F-15E| F-4| Tornado Persian Gulf | Nevada | Syria | NS-430 | Supercarrier // Wishlist: CH-53 | UH-60 Youtube MS FFB2 - TM Warthog - CH Pro Pedals - Trackir
Rangi
I wouldn't buy one, but if someone wants to make one, go for it. PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor.
BaD CrC
Hell no. Helicopters deserves the highest level of FM. FC3 level helicopters would be like flying them on MS Flight Simulator. No way. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
