As many people have the pre-release version of the Viggen and had time to test it, would you share your Warthog HOTAS settings ?

I usually use the suggested assignments in Chucks guide when he releases it. Hopefully he got an early access build as his guides are what I consider an invaluable contribution to the community.

Studying the manual right now to know what I will have to set up on the stick and throttle. But as the dev's have been flying the bird for weeks (even months) it would be interesting to see how they configured them.

Sad that so many people fly with HOTAS and dev's don't release some "preset" configurations.

Never said it was difficult, made my own setting for almost all planes but the A10C. They just have more experience so their advices could help has the are 4 sticks in the Viggen (stick, throttle, radar, missile guidance).

Heres what i have so far. Its just the basics for now but I might update this later once I've come to grips with the Viggen.

Few notes: I use rudder pedals so no controls for brakes or rudder but the paddle switch would do great for brakes.

I used the "three position" radar mode buttons to set on the boat switch so the middle position is A1

Having the fix buttons on the pinky then the cms switch was the best alternative I could think of other then losing the trigger to that function (which i just couldnt get myself to do.)

I've included the controls LUA files if you dont want to bind these controls yourself. You might need to rename these to your current LUA file names in yoir saved games/dcs.openbeta/config/input/ajs37 folder to keep the same identification codes.
