M-2000C Red Flag Campaign announcement

The Red Flags planners did what they could to get the missions as realistic as possible, so they pulled all the flying F-4s and F-5s they could together from the USAF, contracted DRAKEN with their MiG-21s to play the role of F-7 Chengdu and invited the Ukrainians (year is 2012, so before the war in the East of the country) to participate with their MiG-29s and Su-25s. So you will be fighting pretty much the real stuff.

The F-14s by 2012 were all scrapped, unfortunately... or were they?:music_whistling:

Oh, and as the campaign progresses some political developments and new (quite likely IRL) alliances are being introduced, so you will end up fighting even more types of aircraft..

I will try to find some time to do the last development video (as I am getting to the end with mission building).

Hey guys, a short update on progress - the campaign is now 97% ready, waiting for some final VOs and fine tuning of difficulty. Unfortunately 2.2 broke some things trigger - wise, so i will have to dedicate some more time to testing everything. Still, I will try to work on the final update video, there will also be some independent previews of the campaign coming soon. Thought I’d let you know where we are.

im currently playing the m2000c official campaign and loving it. can't wait for this red flag one, and hope to possibly something similar for the harrier in the future, but it makes sense that these things take a lot of time to create

Thanks!

To be honest, I think that the Red Flag will be a completely different experience than the stock campaign, featuring almost three times more VOs (passing 3000 treshold), many many more characters, larger variety of missions which will also be longer, much more advanced briefings and in flight documents plus some nice surprises that were not tried in DCS yet.

I am extremely happy with how it looks and want to use it as a standard for all my future campaigns, including the one for the Harrier.

I had to slow down adding final touches to Red Flag in order to prepare my previous campigns for 2.5 release (and also to see what will be the impact of the single stable version on Red Flag), but it is almost ready.

Stay tuned!

It seems like the kneeboard is bugged on 2.5. You can't read it.

u can, it just takes a while to load. cycle thru the different pages for about 20sec and it will be readable.

temporary solution until it is fixed

Sounds like it's time to bind active pause to a HOTAS button...

Hey guys,

An update - I am test - flying all the missions in 2.5 one last time before sending them to ED for internal tests. Already got to no.10 out of 16, so chances are good that I’ll be able to wrap it up next week. As for the final release it is up to ED longer development plan, but we’re almost there. Cheers!
