Sithis
For some reason, I can not enter the module manager via the main menu in order to activate the Viggen. Esac_mirmidon
My point is try first a fresh clean Open Beta. If all runs fine, then AFTER, try mods. Is very helpfull for ED to find bugs in a clean-fresh Open Beta installation. If people are reporting bugs because mods installed the workload to fix the stable version is doubled. Rudel_chw
attach your logs guys, the more data we get the quicker we can help leatherneck and ED OK, here is mine ... there are strange messages about Dropbox files on the viggen, and warnings of DirectX11 that seem strange to me. I still have slow loading of missions (more than three minutes) and on the Free Flight Quick mission of the C-101, if I start it from the main menu (at Instant Action) it works fine, but if I start it as a normal Mission (which I usually do in order to get the end of mission resume, since I have a manual Pilot Logbook that I mantain using Excel, because DCS Logbook was not detailed enough) then it hangs and never gets to the brieffing. Rudel_chw
have you tried removing or updating tacview? Your version of tacview is an older one, I wonder with the recent changes that is creating the problem? Good catch, I had only disabled my Mods (trough the OvGME utility) and forgot about TacView ... I uninstalled it, but unfortunately the long mission loading times remain. I will deactivate my modules and reinstall everything from scratch during the night, hope that will do the trick :) Thanks and best regards. Badger633
I have the same problems since update. It takes an age for missions to load. I do not have any mods or any other software. Using rift VR. Found that graphics not quite as smooth in missions does micro stutter on occasion when did not before. Most noticeable is I have VR zoom set on one of my thrustmaster throttle buttons. Normally in and out smooth as silk. Now sometimes its smooth but generally it moves in random jerks. On occasion it is so bad that it locks for a second and if you move your head it leaves the image in place while you look elsewhere and then after a fraction of a second snaps into correct position. I have tried in a number of aircraft in a number of mission just the same in all of them. I attach a log of a quick free flight in the spitty whilst using the zoom to create the issue. Hope it helps I7 5930 16gb RAM Gigabyte 1080 1tb SSD Rift win10 pro F/A-18C Campaigns : The Serpent’s Head / The Serpent’s Head 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5.0Ghz / Gigabyte 2080ti water force extreme / 32 Gb RAM Corsair Dominator Platinum 3600 / 2Tb Samsung 970 Evoplus NVMe M.2 / Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas / Thrustmaster Pedals / Valve Index. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted January 27, 2017 ED Team Share Posted January 27, 2017 This time with log. Thanks, I am not seeing anything obvious, if it was me I would delete my open beta saved games folder, and my open beta install and start fresh. If you have the release version installed it wont take to long as it will copy most of it. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/beta/ Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
