nullsys
Hey all, So I place a tank in the editor, it's ASL is 20 meters. How on earth would I find the QFE for targeting that tank?
spiddx
Let's say your starting airfield is at 120 meters ASL. So your starting position is 100m above the tank. Now before takeoff set your altimeter so that it displays 100 and dadaa! Target QFE aquired! :) Obviously doesn't work with air start... Or you could just add a waypoint at the target location (in the Mission Editor) and its QFE will be generated automatically in the kneeboard. ;) Edited January 28, 2017 by spiddx Specs: i9 10900K @ 5.1 GHz, EVGA GTX 1080Ti, MSI Z490 MEG Godlike, 32GB DDR4 @ 3600, Win 10, Samsung S34E790C, Vive, TIR5, 10cm extended Warthog on WarBRD, Crosswinds
grunf
If you put the waypoint on the target in mission editor, you can read the QFE from the kneeboard.
das Rindvieh
Is there a way to get the right qfe during a flight without planning a waypoint in the mission editor?
